Frequently Asked Questions

Selecting the right shower panels is an important element of any bathroom makeover.  Our wide variety of shower boards are designed with durability and long-lasting wear in mind. If you’ve been searching for beautifully designed, functional, easy-to-install wall panels, look no further than the DBS Bathrooms panels range.

Are panels for the shower a good idea?

Panels are durable, waterproof wall panels specifically designed to cover the walls of your shower enclosure. PVC panels for shower enclosures provide an alternative to traditional tile or grout, offering a seamless and low-maintenance solution for your shower walls.

Can I use PVC wall panels in a shower?

All DBS Bathrooms panels are designed to be 100% waterproof. Our waterproof panels for shower cubicles are constructed from materials that are resistant to moisture and designed to withstand the humid and wet conditions of a bathroom for several years, ensuring a bathroom shower panel that is functional and appealing.

What's the difference between wall panels and shower panels?

There’s not much difference between both panels as they have the same moisture-resistant functionality, and they can be installed in various rooms in the house. This includes wet rooms, around bathtubs, or used as decorative wall coverings in other rooms where water resistance is desired, such as kitchens or laundry rooms. Replace the removed panels with new ones that fit your changing design preferences. The most notable difference between our wall and shower panels is the thickness and dimensions of the panels. Wall panels come in a variety of dimensions, whereas panels for showers are 10mm thick, 2400 x 1000mm.

How do you stick panels for the shower?

Our panels are designed so that they can be installed with minimum fuss and without the need for expensive tools, equipment or hiring contractors. For information on installing wall panels, take a look at our blog post, ‘How To Install Bathroom Wall Panels’.
